This short post launches the blog of BBVA’s Technology and Operations Area (BBVA-T&O). We are excited about starting this blog in which we will try to provide interesting content so that you can discover what this area of BBVA does, since we consider ourselves “to be the driving force for transformation” in our company.

Furthermore, we want to show that all our work stems from a basic premise, at all times. In BBVA we know that technology is not an end in itself but just an efficient way to achieve our goals: we work to make life easier for people and for our clients.

But there will be plenty of time to discuss these issues in later posts; right now, I believe it’s more important to explain that this blog forms part of a solid and unwavering commitment by BBVA-T&O (and by the whole of the BBVA Group) to transparency and to clear, open and simple dialogue.

It is supplemented by our presence on the main platforms and social networks (in each case search for “BBVAtech”), as an effective way to achieve this fluent and open dialogue.

Over the next few days, we will start to publish articles here; in principal, we intend to post a weekly review on Mondays. But, you never know. The future will determine the frequency of these posts and also the type of content, and this future will undoubtedly be defined by your comments and opinions.
